Editorial board of Plant and Bioculture inaugurated
The first editorial board of Plant and Bioculture was officially established on October 9. The English journal is hosted by Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) and published in cooperation with Beijing Zhongke Journal Publishing Co., Ltd.
The editorial board includes includes academicians, experts and scholars from 18 institutions across China. Prof. Yang Yongping serves as editor-in-chief of the journal.Dr. Yang Xuefei and Dr. Xu Peng serve as associate editors.
At the inaugural meeting, the members discussed the development plan, strategic direction and key tasks during its launch phase. Prof. Fan Zexin, deputy director of XTBG, chaired the meeting.
Prof. Zhang Jiaolin, CPC secretary and deputy director of XTBG, elaborated on the significance and development vision of launching the journal. He then conferred letters of appointment to the editorial members.
