Academician Elena V. Golosova and her delegation visited Xi'an Botanical Garden
Russian Academy of Sciences academician Elena V. Golosova and her delegation visited Xi'an Botanical Garden on October 17. The group, consisting of Professor Elena V. Golosova from Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University and Crimea Federal University, Professor Smertin V. Nikolaevich from Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University, and Professor Maria Ignatieva from the School of Design at the University of Western Australia, along with 6 others, visited Xi'an Botanical Garden.
Accompanied by researchers Li Bin and Li Yan, they visited the National Qinling Perennial Flower Germplasm Resources Nursery and various specialized garden areas. During the visit, Researcher Li Bin introduced the development plan, germplasm resources conservation, plant introduction, plant science research, and other aspects of Xi'an Botanical Garden, and expressed his hope for a good cooperative relationship. The delegation gave high praise to the park's construction, development plan, and achievements, and also provided suggestions and opinions on the scientific research work, park landscape facilities, plants, and public education on environmental protection. Later, the two sides exchanged and discussed some scientific issues in related fields.
